Hi there, Jackie here of Jackie's Yoga Seattle, today at Liz Doyle Seattle Yoga Shala talking about how to get some relief in the rib area during pregnancy. So, with a regular Yoga practice, it's going to really benefit you to get some space in the rib area by working your breath. So, really a lot of regular Yoga practice is going to benefit you throughout your Yoga practice. But, one specific pose is really beneficial if you're feeling a lot of constriction in the rib area. So, if you have a bolster, that's great; if you don't, just grab a blanket and fold it like a bolster, so maybe in thirds, or whatever else you have that is in a similar shape. From there, you're just going to come to a Baddha Konasana. We're going to start to open up the whole front of the body. So, the soles of the feet placed together, knees play open and this bolster comes right to the seat. And when you're ready, you'll slowly comfortably you're going to come down to lie. From there, you're just going to start to open up the arms to the side, palms face open. So, this whole area is going to get lots of space. And again, really working on your breath to expand the breath to give yourself even more space is going to help to relieve that pain in the ribs. So, those are some Yoga poses to help with rib pain relief in pregnancy. I hope you found that they were helpful. I'm Jackie of Jackie's Yoga. Thanks.
