Hi, I'm Denise Druce for LIVESTRONG.com. Let's look at a few exercises that will have you in great shape for that little black dress. The three body parts that are most important; shoulders and arms, waist and butt. So lets start with an exercise for the arms. You are going to pick up dumbbells and we'll do a lateral raise. So you want your arms to be as straight as possible. Palms down and bring the weights right to your legs. And then up to shoulder height. This is the best way I've found to get that great definition just below the shoulder and into the top of your arms. The second exercise is for the core. So you are going to come into plank pose. Find a good strong high push-up position. Pull your abs in. Pick up one leg and then bring that knee into the outside of the same elbow. Take it back. Tuck straight in the center. Take it back and then cross to the opposite elbow. And then you'll switch legs. Lift, take it to the outside. Exhale bring it to the middle and exhale take it across. Alright the third set is for the glutes. So you are going to take one of your dumbbells and you'll be on your elbows. And you'll take that dumbbell behind one of your knees. Make sure to wedge it in and squeeze tight so that it doesn't fall out. And then you'll just lift your heel and your hip toward the ceiling. And you can do about 15 or 20 of those repetitions on each side.
