Hi, I'm Juliet Kaska and this is how to do a headstand. A great reason to do a headstand is to reverse the circulation in your body and also it's always great to get upside down and see the world from a different viewpoint. So let's come down to our mat, interlace the fingers together and place one pinky inside of the other and then lower down onto your forearms and press firmly down through your elbows, extending into the forearm and down to the outside of the hand and then lower your head down, placing the crown of your head onto the ground and the back of your head slightly inside of the palms of the hand and then extend your legs until they are fully straight on the ground. You can even practice this against the wall and try to keep your head off of the ground and just balance onto your forearms. When you are coming down slightly shift your hips back and begin to lower the legs keeping the legs straight and slowly lower, lower, lower. This is going to take a lot of core strength. It may take a while to build that strength in order to do it properly. Once the toes touch the ground, bend the knees and sit back into a Child's Pose. You deserve the rest.
