Hi, it's Madison Chase, your trainer to the stars, and the star in you helping you be your very best by taking care of your heart and making sure that a healthy body will actually follow. So the question for today is how to get endurance for your legs. Now endurance is a very broad term. Are you trying to get endurance because you are a marathon runner? Are you a sprinter, or you just want to be a great soccer mom or you just want to get leaner legs. So that will depend on what kind of endurance are you actually trying to do. So let's go with the assumption that you want to get more endurance because you want to slim down your legs and that is basically you want to do running for distance if you want to get a leaner look. If you think about the body structure of a sprinter versus a marathon runner, they are two totally different looks. So if we are talking about endurance my suggestion for you would be to make sure that you one have really great running shoes to protect your knees, your hips and your ankles and you want to make sure that you are running on great surfaces like grass and make sure there are no rocks and make sure that you are running on either dirt or grass and try to limit your running on asphalt if possible to protect your joints and/or if you are on a treadmill, the most important thing is that you want to make sure that you have really great running shoes that can absorb the shock of your joints. So I'm Madison Chase and this is how you build endurance by just simply running and making sure that you are actually whatever you are putting in your body is actually fueling your body to increase your endurance.
