I'm Dave Dreeas, here at Arizona Training Lab, and we're going to be performing leg lifts with the toes down. Leg lift with toes down is a great movement to target your core. Instead of laying on your back, we're going to be hanging on the barbell. We're going to focus on crunching and squeezing our abs. When performing this exercise, we're going to be hanging from a pull-up bar. There's a couple things to keep in mind. When we're hanging, we're going to bring our knees up so we're at a 90 degree angle from our head, to our hips, to our knees. You're going to lift the knees up, not necessarily just the hips, but bringing your butt along with you. That's going to help target the lower abs, rather than just your hips. We're going to keep our toes pointed to the ground. It's going to make the ab exercise a little more difficult than it would be if your toes are straight in front of your or pointing up. And, that's how you perform the leg lift with toes down. I'm Dave Dreeas at Arizona Training Lab. Thanks for watching.
