I'm AJ Tucker, I'm gonna show you some Army leg stretches. Whether you want to just train like a soldier or you're getting ready to go into the Army you need these stretches. I'm gonna show you 4 stretches. One is the hamstring stretch standing. The hamstring stretch seated. The thigh stretch and the calf stretch. The hamstring stretch standing. I'm gonna stretch the back of my legs. This is my starting position. I'm gonna go straight down and reach as far as I can to the floor. If you can touch the floor great. You may be here or you can put your palms to the floor. Stretch number 2 is the hamstring stretch seated. So I'm in the seated position, my legs are straight out, and I'm gonna reach forward as far as I can stretching out the same muscle group. The 3rd stretch is the thigh stretch. I'm gonna reach back, I'm gonna lift up my right leg holding this position. If you have a hard time keeping your balance you can put your arms straight out or I learned this trick in the Army you can bring your arm in if you're still having problems with balance. Stretch number 4 is the calf stretch. I'm gonna post my right foot forward, back with the left foot, and I'm gonna stretch this muscle out by pressing my heel towards the ground keeping my hips in to stretch out the calf muscle.
