So let's activate your biceps in these workouts, you can get the best of both worlds. Toned and defined biceps while you are burning a ton of calories at the same time. The first thing you need to think about for your push-ups is having your back really straight and your core engaged. Think about working your biceps as you do this. You want to focus on the muscle being worked while you are doing the exercise. For best results, do three sets of ten reps. Another great calisthenic workout is a workout for your biceps with a TRX. You are using your own body weight here so it's great to get your heart rate up. You're going to grab your TRX, having your feet shoulder width apart, leaning back, toes up, bringing your palms of your hands all the way to your shoulders, pause for a second and bring it back down. Perform three sets of ten reps of this exercise and then you are on your way to defined arms.
