Hi, I'm Holly Del Rosso, and this is good exercises for those who enjoy running. These two exercises are going to strengthen your entire body so you could become a faster runner. So, everything you do in the gym to prep for your running or your race is going to make you stronger, faster and all your friends that you're competing with are going to be blown in the dust. Let's go, let me show you how it's done. For our first exercise, grab something that will create an unstable surface such as a BOSU ball or little squishy ball like this. Put it down on the ground, you're going to have one foot in front of the other in your lunge position, back toe is on the squish ball. Hands are on your hips, you're going to do down into your lunge, hold, engage your gluts to come up. This unstable surface is going to create more strength in your ankles. Squeezing as you come up, core super strong, pushing off the weight in your front heel. In our second exercise, you're going to use the same piece of equipment that we used in the before, squishy ball or BOSU ball. This is a push-up on the ball and you want to make sure that your back is flat. Your hands are right in line with your shoulders and that your feet are together and centered on the ball. Perform two sets of 10 reps for both exercises.
