Hi, everyone, I'm Rich Tola. Today, I'm going to demonstrate how to do a handstand and touch your feet to your head. Why would anyone want to do a handstand and touch your feet to your head? Well, two reasons. One is, you're inverting your body and inversions are good for your circulatory system. and two, you're going to improve your back and strengthen your back muscles. Good, so, let's get started. I'm, going to demonstrate using modified Pincha Mayurasana for you Yoginis out there. So, for Pincha, you do it on your elbow, right, and your forearms. So, we're going to do a one arm handstand. So, we're going to go right forearm down and then, the left palm is going to be in line with the right elbow, right. So, coming into it, get some practice by kicking up, right, good. So, now that we're here, then we're going to slowly bring the feet to meet the head. Try to keep the hips above the shoulders when you do this. And you're going to go, now I may not be able to get all the way down. But you're going as far as you can and then, maybe looking up to meet the pose, see, good. Coming out, you want to come back the way you came into it. And slowly come down and then, come into a Child's Pose. It's always good to come into a Child's Pose here to reverse the spine. And then, release slowly, round up.
