Hey, guys. My name is Robert Weeks. And today I'm going to be teaching you about the dangers of Jiu-Jitsu. Alright guys when it comes to Jiu-Jitsu it's a very dangerous martial art. It imposes almost every single thing that the human body can do dangerously. Whether it's striking, grappling and or countering. So when you do this you have to imagine the amount of times that you will be tossed on your back, on your sides. How many times you'll be locked in a submission. And how many times you will be struck upon. You have to remember that the human body can only take but so much damage before itself will shut down. Jiu-Jitsu dangers will often require the patient to go to the hospital once every three months for situations like cauliflower ear. Situations like trying to drain all the pus out of his ear because of retention of fluid. To broken bones, to having shortness of breath and having energy levels decrease severely because of the amount of training happening. But also because of the people you will train against as well. Some people will be stronger then you. And there will be more technique then you. So you are going to want to definitely make sure that you have the right idea before you even start Jiu-Jitsu. Practitioners of Jiu-Jitsu for more then five years will often deal with hyper extended joints and also have a lot of tendon damage. You are going to want to be very careful for how much time and energy you consume into Jiu-Jitsu. Everybody wants to be the best but it's very hard to be. When doing Jiu-Jitsu regularly you are going to want to make sure that you one, talk to your trainer about your progress. And if there's any problems. Further then that you are going to want to make sure that your doctor or any health official that you talk to knows what you are doing so that they also can aid you in any assistance that you may need. And those are the dangers of Jiu-Jitsu. See you next time guys.
