Hi I'm Jay McLeod. Today, I'm going to show you an isolated anterior deltoid exercise okay? The front of your shoulders helps aid in shoulder flexion and also overhead presses okay? It assists with doing exercises like the bench press. The first exercise I'm going to show you is the dumbbell front raise okay? With my dumbbells in hand, my feet shoulder width apart and my knees relaxed okay, chest out, I'm going to raise my thumbs up, okay shoulder height, pause and slowly return back to start position. So I'm here, exhale, okay, pause, slowly return back to that start position, working, really working the front of your shoulders okay your anterior deltoid. Okay the next shoulder exercise I'm going to show you is a one arm dumbbell press okay? With your weight in hand I want you to pull it right in front of your shoulder, okay, palm facing inward. Now what we're going to do is we're going to power this weight up right over our head and exhale nice and strong. From here we're going to lean out to the side as we press the weight up, just a little bit to your opposite side of the hand that you are holding the weight in, inhale, drop that weight and return to start position okay? We're going to start off going about ten to twelve reps.
