I'm Jeremy Scott, from Jeremy Scott fitness. I'll be talking about the benefits of a dumbbell shoulder press. If we're talking about building a strong set of shoulders, the dumbbell shoulder press is one of your best mass and strength building exercises you can do to build a bigger, broader set of shoulders. You can do it in a seated or standing position. Benefit of doing that standing position is you can integrate your trunk as well. One of my favorite overall mass building exercises. You start the exercise by grabbing a pair of dumbbells you feel comfortable with for the prescribed rep range. You guys will raise your hands above your head until they're about parallel or 90 degrees with each other. You'll simply press the weight overhead, making a full extension up top and then lowering the weight back down to that parallel or 90 degree position for the prescribed number of repetitions. Next time you guys are in the gym looking to add a little bit of size and strength to your shoulders, give the dumbbell shoulder press a try and see if it doesn't do the trick.
