The great benefit of using sled pulls is gonna increase your acceleration and it'll also help you with your power. You want to be able to be able to sprint fast and long. When you're doing your weighted sled pulls you want to make sure your chin is down, you're leaning forward, and in also your eyes down. You want to be able to see your feet in your parental. You want to bring your knees up and you want to make sure your dorsal flex, you're gonna use your arms to generate power and thrust. The importance of doing weighted sled pulls is gonna help your acceleration and then also help you with your power and being explosive. Now depending on your sport is gonna vary with the workout so if you're a football player you may do any type of workout as far as 4 sets of 10 of 40 meters or 40 yards or 3 sets of 10 of 20 yards sprints. If you're a baseball player you may want to do up to 60 yards of sprinting with your sled but you want to make sure that you take the proper rest before and after each rep. If you're a basketball player as well you may want to do this up to 80 feet or 96 feet which is the extent of a basketball court.
