Hi, I'm Michael Carson here to show you how to do air push-ups. Now what is an air push-up? Air push-up is one of the hardest push-ups that you can actually achieve. So when you start the air push-up you really have to be concerned about having your weight somewhat forward through your chest and shoulders. If you keep it really back you are only going to lift the feet up and they're going to hit right back down to the floor. And as you go up you are going to keep yourself very slow and stable. It's not a kicking action it's a slow rising action that you are using your muscles, not momentum. Now you can practice doing regular push-ups or push-ups against the wall to build those muscles. But the thing is you want to make sure is that you don't hold your breath. You don't do too many reps and just go for one or two and then take a rest. Let your body recover so it can adapt to get you stronger so you can really do one of those air push-ups.
