My name is Beth Hoover, and today I'm going to give you a list of activities for your kids to stay fit. Now, making sure your kids stay active in today's ever evolving world of technology can often be a challenge. It's a fact that kids do not get enough physical activity these days and each child needs to get at least 60 minutes of activity a day to maintain health and to prevent obesity. Now, making sure your kids stay active is very important to make sure that it's fun. It has to be exciting for them so that they will want to participate. Today, I'm going to give you three activities that your kids can do to help them stay in shape. The first activity is called wall ball. Now, wall ball is a great exercise or activity for your kids to improve their coordination and also help to get their heart rate up and to keep them moving. All that you're going to need is a tennis ball, a wall and about three to four friends. The next activity is going to be a race. Now, kids love races and this is another great way to help increase their cardiovascular intensity and help them to get a great exercise in. Actually, all you're going to need is a sack and they're going to be racing with the sack on. The third activity is the crab walk race. Now, this activity will help to increase their upper body and core endurance and also give them a great workout.
