Hi, this is Reginald Reese. How to gain six-inch vertical leap in two months? Athletes today are always looking for ways to gain a competitive edge on competition. What I like to do is start with using plyometrics. This will help with the explosive power output that athlete will produce. I like to use the box jumps. With this one, you can start with the six-inch, the 12-inch, the 18-inch, the 24-inch and the 36-inch height of the box. To start, I want to jump two feet and explode up on top of the box, landing both feet at the same time. Step back down and repeat. The next one is real simple; what I like to do is the barbell squat. Since we are wanting to develop the quads and the power output, it only makes sense that we work on the quads. We'll start by placing the bar on the back of our neck and keeping that chest up, chin up, we'll squat. You want to come close as parallel with the thighs as possible, and explode back up. Those two exercise right there using the plyometrics and the barbell squats would definitely increase vertical in two months.
