I'm Beth Hoover and this is how to work out longer. Getting in a longer workout is going to be a way to burn more calories to increase your endurance and stamina and also to help you to get the results that you are looking for. In order to do that there's a couple of tools that you need. The first thing you need to think about is getting good nutrition. Making sure you are getting enough calories is essential for you to have an effective workout. If it's been a couple of hours since you've had a meal, you want to make sure that you have a snack before your workout, so having a source of carbohydrate like a fruit, an apple and a source of lean protein like a piece of string cheese is a perfect combination to give you some energy for your workout. You also want to make sure that you are refueling the body right after a workout. So the most important time to eat right after a workout is within 45 minutes That's going to help you to fuel your body even for the next day. The next thing you want to remember is drinking water. Water is essential for your workout as well. Staying well hydrated is going to help you to be able to go longer and push through your workout. If you want to add a source of electrolyte into the water that's really good as well and it's going to help you to stay hydrated. Incorporating these two tools into your workout will allow you to perform more reps, increase your endurance, resulting in a longer workout.
