Hi I'm Dr. Brooks Tiller. Today we're going to look at three exercises that we can do in 15 minutes to help get us in better shape. This is going to increase our heart rate, it's going to get our muscles firing, increase our strength and really burn some of that fat off. The first exercise we're going to do is a plank. We're going to begin with our elbows directly beneath our shoulders with shoulder, hip, knee and ankle in a straight line. We're going to really squeeze our core tight, really pull down and hold that for 15 seconds. The next exercise we're going to do is we're going to stand up and we're going to do a speed skater lunge. We're going to stand on our left foot and we're going to drop our right foot back and across the mid line like a speed skater, speeding down the track. We are then going to explode up using our glutes and we're going to do this for 15 seconds. The third exercise we're going to do is a squat. Here we're going to have our feet shoulder width apart, toes slightly turned out. We're going to push our hips back, slightly bending our knees as if sitting back into a chair. We're going to go as low as you possibly can and then you are going to fire your glutes to stand back up. Then we're going to rest for 15 seconds. This gives us a minute of exercise. We're going to do 15 rounds of this. After 15 rounds, you are done, just set a timer for 15 minutes and get to it.
