Hi, I'm Shaun Zetlin, and I'm here to show you how to get the horseshoe effect on your arms when you work out. Today we're going to do the tricep diamond exercise. It's going to be a great exercise to get that horseshoe effect and work the long head of the tricep. I am joined once again with my great partner, Uran and she's going to show you how to do a tricep diamond push-up. So there's a lot of dos and don'ts, so let's go over the dos first. First Uran is going to make the diamond tricep position. Her hands will touch one another. This again will create the long head tricep and also create that horseshoe effect. She's going to position her feet together. Her toes will be forward, the scapula is going to be relaxed and not rounded. You don't want to make sure it's rounded, please keep it relaxed. The neutral spinal position is intact. Glutes are tight, core is tight. She is going to now go downward with her upper body and lower body together and push up using her palms. Her palms will help with added stability and she will inhale and exhale properly as she goes down and up. Again the core is tight, the glutes are tight. She will show you now to not lean, do not hike a hip and that's what that looks like. So again make sure the neutral spinal position is intact to get that horseshoe effect in those triceps.
