Hi, I'm Lindsey Smith, and these are ballet exercises for lifting arches. In classical ballet, high arches are considered ideal. While your arch height partially depends on genetics, you can also do some exercises to increase your arch height as well. For the first exercise you will be starting on the floor sitting with your legs straight out in front of you. You're going to want to use the band, wrap it around your right foot, and then you'll be pointing and flexing your feet. Now, we'll start by rolling through our feet with the heel of our foot, then the ball then the toe, and then you'll reverse that. Toe ball heel, heel ball toe, toe ball heel. And you'll continue to do that ten times. Then you'll repeat the entire process on the left-hand side. After that you're gonna stretch out the resistance band all the way in front of you, and use your metatarsals and all the little muscles in your feet to gather the, the band by rolling it towards you. You'll want to continue to do that until it's completely gather towards you, and then you'll switch and do it on the left as well.
