Hi, this is Jamie Glick. I'm here to talk about your daily love handle workout. Love handles are an accumulation of fat on the side of your abdominals. They're very tricky to get of, but we'll show you ways to do it. To get rid of love handles, you need to workout the muscles on the side of your abdomen, namely the obliques and the Quadratus lumborum. These two muscles make up the side of the abdomen and they must be worked out safely to avoid any extra stress on your spine. Two exercises that are very important and safe for the spine that will help with your love handles, are the side plank or side bridge. So, you're going to lie on your side, you're going to put your feet straight. And you're going to prop yourself up and you're going to hold that position making sure you breathe in and out. You can hold that for 10 seconds and progress that ultimately up 30 or even 60 seconds. And you can do that once on each side. The other exercise you can try for your love handles is a simple dumbbell walkout. You're going to hold onto a dumbbell in one hand, you can start with a five-pounder. And it's very simple, you're just going to hold on and walk and try not to lean over to one side. And this is a timed exercise where you're going to go for one minute and then, switch hands. And do the other side for another minute.
