Hi, I'm Eraldo Maglara, NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, here at Vibe Fitness Center. And this is, knee wraps for deadlifts. Knee wraps are great tool to use in your lower body exercises, whether it'd be squats, whether it'd be deadlifts. And why? For three reasons. First of all, they increase stability in your knee; second of all, they do give you a little more power, about 50 percent more power. And last, they will reduce any injuries, any prone injuries you might have to that area. So, you want to begin at the bottom portion of your knee and then slowly work up to the top. If it's your right leg, you may want to try to go up clockwise and on the left side of your knee, you may want to go counterclockwise. So, make sure that you start slowly and work all the way up and then, if you have any extra added wrap, you can continue going down again. Now, before you perform your exercise, you may just want to test it out just to make sure that everything is just working fine and that it's not too tight or just comforting to you.
