Hi, my name is Adrian Heath. I'm the head coach of the Austin Aztex. And now we're going to demonstrate how to defend a corner. Corners are when the ball goes over the goal line when a defender takes it and the opposing team has the opportunity to put in your box--so if could you put the ball in the box Carlos. And see, we've got a goal keeper in Craig and he's the goal keeper, calling, catching it and throw it back. And if we take another one for this Carlos, out to Wes. So that's the goal keeper coming in and dealing with the cross because it's on--in his area. And then the ball has gone out and the defender comes and clears it. Lovely safe contact, didn't swipe at the ball, got behind it, and cleared the penalty area. This is the most important area of the pitch to defend to try and keep goals against. If we could go through it again. If your goal keeper could come and get the ball, which is fantastic, like that, that alleviates all the problems, and then we go up the pitch, and now we can start to attack again. Or if the ball comes a little bit further out, Wes will demonstrate how to defend this. So you've--tack it Wes and out it goes and clears his lines and we all get set again and that's how to defend a corner.
