Hi, I'm Amber Nimedez with LIVESTRONG.COM, and I'm going to teach you how to get some well rounded abs. The first exercise that I'm going to have you do is on your back and this is going to attack the upper muscles and the lower abdominals here, OK. So you're going to lay down on your back, extend your legs out and what I want you to do is make a nice, rounded position here with the upper body and then you're going to do the same with your legs. You're going to lift these guys up here. And then the thing you're going to do here is rock. So you're going to lift your legs up and then down. OK kind of like a rocking chair. And you're going to do about ten to 30. And you don't want to go too high and you don't want to go too low but you will definitely feel this in every part of your ab. And now we're going to turn to the side and attack the side oblique a little bit more. Same concept here. You're going to lay down on your side. This hand here is going to anchor my body down and I'm going to round my upper body up and then rock it down, bringing the legs up. And you're just rocking back and forth, squeezing every muscle including your glutes. And you're going to do about 30. And then we're going to stretch out those abs, which is really important in getting those low rounded abs. So I'm going to do the same thing on my stomach. My arms are going to be extended out. When I lift my arms up, rock it down and lift my legs up. I can feel the stretch of my stomach and work in my lower back OK. And then you also want to make sure that you complete it and do the other side. So go to my other side. My body is in a straight line. My right arm is anchoring my body. You're going to lift up my arm and then rock my legs up. And I really feel this in my side oblique and you will too. And that completes what I call the rock and roll abs. And that exercise will definitely get you well rounded abs. My name is Amber Nimedez with LIVESTRONG.COM.
