Hi, I'm Ingrid, and today we're going to do Yoga positions to eliminate belly fat. A lot of Yoga positions will often focus on the core and strengthening the core will help eliminate that fat. Today, we're going to do boat pose as well as plank on your elbows. First pose is boat pose. We're going to start by rolling our shoulder blades back and together as we open up the heart. We're going to extend our arms out in front of us; then, we're going to bring our legs up. And you can keep them bent slightly or you can eventually start to straighten them. You're going to hold it here. Better than crunches, this targets the lower belly as oppose to the upper. Take a couple of deep breaths, opening up the heart [Breath]. Good, when you're done, inhale one more time and then exhale and go ahead and come down. You can even hug your legs nice and tight for a counter pose. So, plank on your elbows, you're going to start by setting up our elbows right below our shoulders. Then, we're going to engage our upper thighs and tuck our toes underneath us, as we shoot our hips slightly up into the sky, engaging the upper thighs so that we help engage the core. We extend the crown of the head forward. We take a couple of deep breaths, keeping our shoulder blades back and together. [Breath]. Once you're done, you can go ahead and bend your knees, bring them back onto the floor and take a formal sphinx, arching your heat out for a nice deep counter pose.
