Hi, I'm Scott White. We are going to talk about the great ways to work out your thighs. What are your thighs? They make up your quadriceps and your hamstrings. And some little muscles surrounding. So to work these muscles the best exercises are going to be squats, lunges, and variations of all those. Squats, the great thing about squats is you are working your glutes, your hamstrings, your quads. So a total thigh developer. So you are going to build muscle in those thighs. When performing a squat you can use dumbbells or a barbell. I'm going to use dumbbells today. You are going to keep your chest up, bend your knees and your hips back sinking your butt backwards. Chest up coming down as far as you can. And then driving up with that heels. Chest up, back straight. All the way down and up. Keeping your eyes straight forward and having nice good controlled form. You don't want to bend over and round your back. And you don't want to bend your back too much. You want to make sure you bend your knees and your hips sinking your butt as low as possible. And driving straight up with those heels keeping your body as upright as possible. So with the lunge to do it correctly you want to step that foot forward. Press back with that heel at a diagonal motion cause that really recruits your hamstrings and glutes, and quadriceps really fire. And then you of course repeat. You can do lunges in place or walking lunges. As long as you do them correctly that's what matters most.
