I'm AJ Tucker, and this is how to put on ankle weights properly. Ankle weights are a great way to add resistance and variation to your workouts. You can add it to a cardio workout, a core, floor exercise, or you can add it to a kickboxing workout. Now I'm going to show you how to put these on. First, you want to inspect the ankle weights before you even put them on. I'm going to check my weights and make sure there is no rips or tears. I want to check the seams. I also want to make sure I adjust the weight properly so if I'm just starting out, I can pull these out and adjust the weight. Whenever I put these on, I'm going to wrap it around my ankle and push it all the way through. It is held on by Velcro. I'm going to pull it snug but I don't want to pull it too tight as to cut off my circulation. Also if you have sensitive skin, you want to wear pants or long socks whenever you put them on, tighten it up and I'm ready to go.
