BILL BOSTICH: Now, for those of you that don't have eight years of your life to spend frivolous time learning how to ski moguls, we're going to use John Clendenin's universal technique, the four works. This works in bumps; this works in stream skiing; it works in racing; it works for everybody, always has and always will. Laurie is going to simulate a pole plant by just tapping her hand and go over here. Touch and tip, two of the four works. Drift, flatten your skis out, touch your pole, tip and re-center on the uphill foot. Touch, tip, drift, flatten your skis out to the happy spot, touch and tip. Touch and tip. Touch and tip. Touch and tip. Flatten your skis; let them drift. And again, we don't want to rush the middle of our turns. It's especially true in skiing moguls, be patient. This technique is about a patient turn. Again, go to the happy spots on the hill. It will reward you and it will be a heck of a lot less work.
