MELISA BROWN: Hi, my name is Melisa Brown and I'm a licensed massage therapist here in Miami, Florida. I'm with U Need A Massage. In this clip, we're going to be talking about how to give an arm massage. I'm going to be using the whole arm including the hands, and I'm starting up at the shoulders. And I'm coming around in a circular motion, and then I'm going to be doing a compression. I'm putting the same amount of pressure on both hands. My hands are in a butterfly position, and I'm pressing down and pressing down and pressing down all the way to the hands. I'm using a minimal amount of oil, not even a dime size, very, very small, and I'm spreading it up around and coming back down. That's just your simple gliding stroke. My fingers are close and I'm using the palm of my hand. I'm not using my fingers to go in. I'm going simply up. I'm rounding around at the corner, coming back down, taking the whole arm and finishing at the hands. If you want to give it a nice little kneading at the hands, I'm just gliding up. If you want to go a little bit deeper using your fist, and you go a little bit slower, never really interrupting that, too fast or too slow. But at the same token, it's more alleving, very soothing, and always finishing in a compression.
