Non-Surgical Breast Lifts

Many women interested in enhancing the size of their breasts are looking for viable alternatives to surgery. Non-invasive breast lifts are on the market; unfortunately, so far, few of them have proven to have the lasting effects that going under the knife can provide.

Plastic surgeons are developing a range of techniques to lift breasts without using the scalpel. In one, the skin underneath the collarbone is tightened in order to lift the breasts. Using pulsation and heat, the treatment requires no anesthesia and is purported to last 2 years or more. One of the most successful alternatives to breast surgery is the breast feather lift. The technique incorporates thin threads that have tiny spikes all along their length. These threads are inserted under the skin of the breast at various angles. Once the threads are in place, the spikes are activated, lifting the skin to create a more youthful and uplifted contour. Because the entry and exit points for the threading are very tiny, healing is usually easy and fast, and there are no telltale scars left anywhere along the breast.

Another technique for lifting breasts involves the use of a conventional breast pump. The pump is placed over the breast and the action of the pump creates a vacuum to pull the skin into the area, thus amplifying size and creating the impression of a lift. This technique is not always reliable and needs to be done on a regular basis, or the breast will return to its natural size.

There are several herbal formulas on the market that claim to promote breast-tissue growth. This assertion is still unproven, though taking the herbs is generally not harmful to your health, even if your breasts do not respond. Hormone-replacement therapy can be another alternative, with the increase in production of estrogen stimulating the cells to enhance breast size and create the impression of a lift.

One of the best ways to maintain healthy muscle around the breasts in order to create the illusion of a lift is by doing regular chest workouts at the gym. Though the breast tissue remains the same, increasing the muscle helps to enhance cleavage while creating more support for the breasts. Exercises such as push-ups, pull-overs, cross-overs, flys and bench presses are excellent and natural ways of toning the chest. Doing these exercises three times a week, with days in between to allow your chest muscles to recover, will yield positive developments in your entire chest area over time.
