Made from milk, yogurt is curdled by adding a Lactobacillus acidophilus culture, or other "friendly" bacteria essential for healthy digestion as well as for the prevention of several intestinal disorders. While Yoplait yogurt provides nutritional value, the amount of sugar in a single serving is considered high. Added sugars provide calories, but little to no nutritional value.

One 6-oz. serving of Original French Vanilla Yoplait yogurt has 170 calories, 1.5 g of fat, 10 mg of cholesterol, 85 mg of sodium, 230 mg of potassium, 33 g of carbohydrates with no dietary fiber, 26 g of sugars and 5 g of protein. A single serving of Original French Vanilla Yoplait yogurt provides 4 percent daily value of iron, 15 percent of vitamin A and 50 percent of calcium and vitamin D.

Whips Vanilla Creme

One serving of Yoplait Whips Vanilla Crème has 160 calories, 4 g of fat, 15 mg of cholesterol, 105 mg of sodium, 230 mg of potassium, 26 mg of carbohydrates, 22 g of sugars and 5 g of protein. Yoplait Whips Vanilla Crème provides 10 percent daily value of vitamins A and D, calcium and phosphorus.

Thick and Creamy Vanilla

One serving of Yoplait Thick and Creamy Vanilla has 180 calories, 2.5 g of fat, 15 mg of cholesterol, 110 mg of sodium, 290 mg of potassium, 31 g of carbohydrates, 28 g of sugars and 7 g of protein. Yoplait Vanilla Thick and Creamy provides 15 percent daily value of vitamin A, 20 percent of vitamin D and phosphorus and 30 percent daily value of calcium.
