Many people use exercise bikes in health clubs and in home gyms for cardiovascular exercise. Exercise bikes come with a variety of features including monitors to help you track your performance. Heart rate monitors, cycling computers and other monitoring devices help the user to train more efficiently, but require a monitor mount to attach the device to the exercise bike.

Cardiosport Universal Bike Mount for a Heart Rate Monitor

The Cardiosport Universal Bike Mount works with a variety of electronic monitoring equipment including all watches, cycle computers and heart rate monitors. It is made from durable hard rubber and attaches to the handlebars of the exercise bike. It is easy to fit, light weight and vibration free. It sells for about $12 as of 2011.

Polar Bike Mount

Polar has been manufacturing heart rate monitors since 1979. Polar also sells a Universal Bike Mount that fits on bike handlebars for viewing your training data. It is also designed to fit your wrist if you want to use it off your exercise bike. The Polar Bike Mount, as of 2011, sells for around $10.

Timex Watch Bike Mount

Timex makes a watch bike mount that attaches to an exercise bike, or any other bike, during workouts and training sessions. You can attach heart rate monitor watches. The Timex Watch Bike Mount fits 22.2 mm to 31.8 mm diameter bars and keeps your data in constant view while you work out. The Timex Watch Bike Mount sells for between $8 and $10, as of 2011.

Profile Design Universal Computer Mount

The Profile Design Universal Computer Mount lets you use your computer monitor while cycling. This allows you to exercise while working on the computer. Profile's mount can be used on most exercise bike handlebars. It installs without the use of tools; simply twist it onto the handlebars. It has a standard size connection for one computer or other monitor accessory. It is also available in an extra large size to fit oversize accessories or two standard size accessories such as heart rate monitors. It fits 22 to 24 mm bars and weighs only .15 lb. As of 2011, it sells for around $11.
