Here are some breakfast ideas that may take inches off your body and add years to your life.
Breakfast Idea No. 1
Make two low-carb pancakes or two low-carb waffles made with buttermilk, according to the directions on a box of Big Train Low Carb Pancake and Waffle Mix (see Resource below), and top them with ½ cup of fresh sliced strawberries. Breakfast Idea No. 3
Eat two large hard-boiled or poached eggs for breakfast with 2 wheat Melba toasts, and have a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Two large eggs contain just 146 calories and zero carbs. Two wheat melba toasts contain 36 calories and a total of 8 grams of carbs. Coffee without milk or sugar has about 2 calories and zero carbs. If you are not a coffee drinker, then have freshly brewed tea without milk or sugar for 2 calories and 1 gram of carbs. Add a fresh peach to your breakfast meal. One small peach contains 30 calories and about 8 grams of carbs. This low-calorie and low-carb breakfast idea totals 214 calories and 16 grams of carbs (17 grams of carbs if you are having tea instead of coffee).
