The Subway breakfast sandwich line was launched in 2010 to provide traditional breakfast options for Subway customers. There are two main choices for a sandwich: the egg muffin melt or the 6-inch omelet sandwich

Egg Muffin Melts

The calorie content information provided assumes using eggs whites for the melt. The egg and cheese melt contains 140 calories. The black forest ham, egg and cheese melt contains 160 calories. The double bacon, egg and cheese melt contains 190 calories. The steak, egg and cheese melt contains 170 calories. The Western egg with cheese melt contains 160 calories.

6-inch Omelet Sandwiches

Again, the calorie content for the omelet sandwiches will be assuming use of egg whites. The 6-inch egg and cheese contains 320 calories. The 6-inch Black Forest ham, egg and cheese contains 350 calories. The 6-inch double bacon, egg and cheese contains 420 calories. The 6-inch steak, egg and cheese sandwich contains 390 calories. The 6-inch Western egg and cheese contains 350 calories.

Considerations

You may choose to have each of these sandwiches made with eggs whites or a regular egg. Using a regular egg adds 30 calories to the nutritional total for melts and 100 calories to the nutritional total for omelet sandwiches. Select egg whites to reduce both your total calorie and fat intake.
