The primary ingredients in mayonnaise are soybean oil and eggs, which make a mayonnaise face mask an effective treatment for dry facial skin. Mayo also contains vinegar, which helps stimulate the turnover of skin cells, leaving your face feeling as if it has been exfoliated. Scoop 1/2 cup of mayonnaise out of the jar and place it in a bowl. Allow the bowl to sit on the counter for half an hour while the mayo warms up to room temperature.

Put your hair up and away from your face, and then wash your face with a gentle cleanser. Rinse it with warm water.

Apply the mayonnaise to your face with your fingertips, applying it thickly and avoiding the eye area.

Leave the mayonnaise on your face for 15 to 20 minutes. Use this time to close your eyes and relax, if possible.

Rinse the mayo off your face with warm water, rubbing your skin in a circular motion with your fingertips to loosen dead skin cells.
