Grouper fillets are not only healthy, they also make a very tasty main dish that is easy and fast to fix. Grouper is readily available at fish markets throughout the south, and it is generally available frozen in many grocery stores. The appealing texture of the meat and lack of fishy taste and smell make it a popular choice for fish lovers. This is a simple yet tasty grouper recipe the whole family will love.

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Mix the melted butter and lemon juice in a small bowl.

Step 3

Brush 2 tbsp. of the lemon-butter mixture on a piece of aluminum foil placed on the broiler pan.

Step 4

Mix the garlic salt, parsley, paprika and white pepper together in another small bowl.

Step 5

Sprinkle the spice mixture on both sides of each grouper fillet.

Step 6

Bake the grouper fillets for approximately 10 minutes for 1-inch-thick fillets until the meat flakes.

Step 7

Brush the fillets with the lemon-butter mixture and spread with mayonnaise.

Step 8

Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
