There are many ways to season a beef burger, depending on your flavor preferences. You can alter the taste of your entire burger by changing and modifying your seasonings. From simple seasonings to ones with a more exotic flare, burgers take in the spices you add and a whole new taste sensation is created. By using simple Mexican spices with a bit of cayenne, you can create a savory burger that has just a hint of spiciness.

Step 1

Combine the seasonings in a small mixing bowl, including the salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, ancho chile powder and cayenne pepper.

Step 2

Put the ground beef in a larger mixing bowl and break it up with your hands. Add the seasonings to the ground beef. Use your hands to thoroughly combine the ground beef and the seasonings. Form the seasoned ground beef into patties.

Step 3

Sprinkle 1/2 tsp. of the seasoning mixture on top of each beef patty if you prefer to use pre-made burgers. Cook the patties however you prefer.
