Wow, you had my vote as soon as your dad asked for it. Now, after watching your video, I realize how motivated and dedicated you are. Alex, you are correct when you told your mom and dad that you have already won. You are truly an inspiration to all. Keep it up (and tell your dad I said hello). Erik Everton

Alex,
You are an inspiration to all and I know that your parents are so proud of you. I have to admit I shed a few tears when I viewed this clip. You know as a soccer mom, we all have this fear in the back of our mind....we have big dreams for our kids. BUT you have proven that you can be victorious ... You have already won! Dear Alex,

Through trajedy you leared a truth that eludes most people. I'm sorry for your pain. I'm confident that you will achieve your goals and enjoy a wonderful life. Thanks for being an inspiration to others. I'll share your message with my sons. Keep up the good work. John Sanchez '87

Alex,
I believe that if you want something bad enough, with hard work and dedication you can get it! It is obvious that you are demonstrating both of these qualities so keep it up. Remember that your family and friends are always behind you, supporting you no matter what. Great job with everything and best of luck to you!

From one Gooner to another, thank you for inspiring me, as all of the videos have done that I just watched.
It's 1 am here in the UK, and I turned on my laptop as I couldn't sleep, worrying about some financial struggles I'm having, whilst trying to build a business. and there was the Live Strong email in my inbox.
I have nothing to worry about Alex
Live strong

Determination, determination and more determination. You don't know when you'll break out into the open and achieve your goal, but you will get there. Keep plugging. God bless you and your inspiring efforts.

P.S. and another quote by Theodore Roosevelt on who deserves the credit. You'll know it when you find it.

Alex,

Thanks for sharing your story! Winners never quit and you are clearly a winner and inspiration to all. I plan to share your video with my four young daughters in the future if / when they tell me they can't do something or that it's "too hard."

Good luck and best wishes you and your family.

You're amazing! Loved your inspirational video. You've already won in my book. Don't ever stop ..., keep reaching for your goals! Don't get discouraged! God will keep you strong! Hey I did not go through ½ of what you did but I sort of know what you're going through. In my senior yr in HS I broke my neck while training in gymnastics. I had surgery and worked hard to make a comeback. I placed in the HS State meet and got recruited to WP ...the coach said he liked my courage and my attitude. I competed for 4 years at WP and had a great experience! I was so inspired because when I was at my lowest point, I had a lot of help! Many teachers, friends, and coaches helped me and supported me. Remember it's about the joy of the journey not about the final destination! Corey Robinson, WP 87 (Your Dads Classmate)
