Instructions for Programing a Schwinn Bike Computer

The Schwinn bike computer enables you to calculate the distance and time of your cycling trek. Schwinn offers wireless computer models that do not hinder the movement of your handlebars. Schwinn's signature 12-function wireless computer features a convenient mounting bracket that fits around the handlebars of your road or mountain bike. The Schwinn computer features a specialized magnet and sensor that calculates the speed of your bicycle wheel. This bike computer also display the temperature.

Step 1

Hold down the right and left button to switch the Schwinn computer to "wheel input" mode. Push the left button to scroll down and highlight the wheel size of your bicycle. Press the right button to select the wheel size.

Step 2

Push the left button once more to switch the Schwinn computer to "km/mile" selection mode. Press the right button to choose between kilometers and miles. Push the left button to confirm your selection.

Step 3

Hold down the left button to highlight the time. Press the right button to choose between the conventional 12-hour clock or the military style 24-hour clock. Push the left button to confirm your selection.

Step 4

Press the right button to choose the correct hour. Push the left button to highlight the minutes on the digital display. Depress the right button to choose the appropriate number of minutes.
