Katherine is a freelance writer and dedicated yoga instructor who has been practicing for nearly a decade and teaching for 6+ years. She has over 1,000 hours of training under her belt in vinyasa and hatha yoga, and in the spirit of lifelong learning, is currently pursuing a certification as a Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist. Her approach is rooted in both the yoga tradition and modern science, and strives to bring a sense of lightheartedness and an informed perspective to her teaching. When not on the mat, she loves to explore the beautiful mountains, coastline, and waterways of her home in Maine with her husband, baby girl, and tripod pup, Candy.
