The 'Your Year, Your Way' Challenge

Fitness and nutrition were never meant to be one-size-fits-all. Whether you’re a plant-based weight lifter working on bulking up, a yogi on a budget trying to reduce stress or a beginner runner starting on a weight-loss journey, healthy living looks different on everyone.

In 2021, we want you to live Your Year, Your Way, which is why our January challenge provides a framework for you to  figure out what works best for you. Every single workout and meal in this plan can be tailored to your fitness level, dietary preferences and health goals.

After all, you shouldn’t have to fit into a diet and fitness plan. The plan should have to fit you.

Starting Monday, January 4, we're challenging you to mix and match healthy, home-cooked dishes with quick workouts that require little to no equipment.

You’ll rotate through four video workouts, all under 30 minutes — cardio, strength, HIIT and mobility — developed exclusively for this challenge by personal trainer Holly Rilinger, creator of The LIFTED Program. Follow the fitness plan on our month-long calendar or create your own schedule. Either way, you’ll add weight, reps or speed every week to keep progressing.

For your meals, two registered dietitians, Maya Feller, RD, CDN and Abbie Gellman, RD, CDN, built eight versatile formulas for simple, nutritious dishes. Each week, you’ll focus on a different meal of the day — breakfast, lunch, dinner and finally, snacks and dessert — and learn how to make endless tasty combinations using only the ingredients you love.

Keep scrolling for everything you need to know about the challenge, including a printable calendar to track your progress and more info on your food and fitness plans.
