When it comes to the annual Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, it can be tough to parse what's actually a good deal and what's not. As editors who cover a ton of products throughout the year, we've got some tried-and-trues we're hoping to see drop in price this November.

Sleep

1. Brooklinen Organic Cotton Core Sheet Set

I love all things Brooklinen, and I’ve been on a mission to slowly upgrade my entire bed and bathroom with their luxurious-yet-durable products.

Right now, I’ve got my eye on the brand’s Organic Cotton Core Sheet Set, which reviews have convinced me are the perfect balance of soft and breathable. I’ve been dreaming about drifting off in these cozy sheets (pun intended), and I know from experience with Brooklinen products that they’re worth the investment.

Plus, I’m nerdily excited that the fitted sheet comes with “long” and “short” labels on the sides to take the guesswork out of the bed-making process.

2. Coyuchi Cloud Brushed Organic Flannel Duvet Cover

Sleep is one of the top three pillars of workout recovery, and, in my opinion, the most important.

I’ve been eyeing this flannel duvet from Coyuchi, made with organic cotton, for a while now. I know I’m too hot of a sleeper to go with full-on flannel sheets for the winter, but a soft, brushed flannel duvet cover combined with some matching shams sounds like the perfect cozy duo to help me get some quality zzzs.

I’ve owned another Coyuchi duvet (given as a gift) for 5 years now, so I know the brand holds up to dog fur, frequent washes and cold Colorado nights.

3. Athleta Ultimate Stash Tight

I have the Athleta Ultimate Stash 7 Shorts and I love them so much. They’re buttery soft, don’t fall down, have pockets to store your personal items and they’re tight but not too tight.

I would love for the leggings to go on sale for Black Friday, as I’m not wearing shorts to go for runs and walks outside in the winter. (FWIW, two colors of these tights — blue and olive green — are currently on sale, but the black tights are full price still.)

Other highlights include the fact that these tights are moisture-wicking and fit true to size. They also come in petite, regular and tall sizes in XXS to 3X.

4. Lululemon 28" Align High-Rise Pant with Pockets

It’s finally time for me to get another pair of the GOAT of leggings. They're soft, have pockets, are stretchy without being saggy and don't fall down. I try not to pay full-price for workout clothes, so I’ve got these bookmarked (and at the top of my wish list for gifting season).

I wear them to yoga classes, during weight training and on long LISS walks, and they hold up through all of it.

Our health director, Kaitlin Ahern, agrees: "The Align is my favorite by far, both for lounging and getting sweaty in."

5. Lululemon Base Pace High-Rise Tight

These are my favorite running tights of all time. Seriously. As someone who owns a lot of running gear, it’s a pretty big statement. They are super smooth and lightweight, and they stay in place so I’m never distracted by having to adjust them.

I can’t wait to get a new pair of these (or two) just in time for winter training.

6. Bowflex SelectTech Adjustable Dumbbells

I’ve been working out at home for several years now (since March 2020, in fact), and my dumbbells need an upgrade. I’m getting stronger, and my 10- and 12-pounders just aren’t cutting it anymore.

I don’t see myself getting a gym membership again anytime soon (you really can’t beat the convenience of exercising in your living room), so I think it’s time to invest in a set of adjustable weights that will grow with me on my fitness journey.

I’ve had my eye on this set from Bowflex (which reviewers on Amazon rave about and has made our list of best adjustable dumbbells), and I’ll be sure to snag it if and when the price drops.

Miscellaneous

7. Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar Eau de Parfum

I love adding to my fragrance collection when there are deep discounts, and Black Friday is the perfect opportunity.

This scent from Viktor & Rolf has been at the top of my list thanks to its grown-up blend of blackcurrant, bergamot, vanilla and patchouli.

It has a soothing nostalgia effect mixed with a splash of mystery and allure, and I can’t wait to have it in my rotation for bright summer days or cuddling up next to the fireplace.

8. Scentbird Subscription

I love trying different perfumes based on the season or what mood I’m in. Scentbird is an easy way to mix up your fragrances, especially if you don’t want to settle on just one.

It’s a subscription-based system that lets you choose from dozens of designer perfumes every month. Right now you can get 20 percent off until December 2.

9. Apple Airpods Max

I have the original AirPods and love the convenience of being able to pop them in whenever I work out, run errands or am taking my dog for a walk.

But recently, I was traveling and my ears hurt after wearing them on the plane for too long. That’s when I remembered that Apple makes their new AirPods Max — over-the-ear headphones — with noise-canceling ability and cushiony speakers that wouldn’t bother my ears.

I’m thinking of purchasing the space gray color, but they also come in green, pink, silver and sky blue. They are now 18 percent off on Amazon, and I hope the price dips lower.

10. Nespresso VertuoPlus Coffee and Espresso Machine

I’m a huge coffee drinker and would love to save money by fulfilling my coffee fix at home. I have a few friends who have Nespressos, and they’ve convinced me to get my own.

I love how there are different pod flavors and types of coffee drinks you can make yourself. It’s like having a professional coffee shop right in your own kitchen.

This machine is 30 percent off on Amazon for about $119 (usually $170).
