Cedar Ridge RV Park
Cedar Ridge RV Park, is a small, family owned RV park in Folkston, available for nightly and extended rental throughout the year. This is currently the only RV park located in Folkston. Cedar Ridge has 12 pull-through sites with electric, water and sewage hookups. There are also several tent campsites with no services available. There is little in the park by way of amenities but there are several clean restrooms and showers in the front of the park. You can cut your own firewood and hike on the nearby trails.
Trader's Hills Campground
The Trader's Hills Campground is a small campground, located just outside of Folkston, with a number of RV sites, tent sites and cabin rentals available for nightly and extended rental through most of the year. The park has 60 RV sites with electric, water and sewage hookups as well as a dump station and propane filling station. Tent sites are outfitted with water and electric hookups as well. The campground is located directly on St. Mary's River and you can rent paddles and a canoe if you haven't brought your own. The river is an excellent swimming site, with minimal boating in the early mornings and late evenings.
Okefenokee Campground
Okefenokee Campground, located on 14 acres of private wooded acres right next to the Okefenokee Swamp and National Wildlife Refuge, is seven miles outside of Folkston. The Okefenokee Campground has RV sites, tents and cabins available for rental throughout the year. All sites are large and secluded, come with standard hookups and there are several restrooms and showers located throughout the park. Okefenokee Campground also provides guided tours, outfitting and has a small gift and camp store at the park's entrance. You can canoe your way through the neighboring Okefenokee Swamp and National Wildlife Refuge and catch your own healthy dinner.
St. Mary's River Fish Camp and Campground
St. Mary's River Fish Camp and Campground is an expansive campground located directly on the river just across the border in Florida and is open for tent and RV camping year-round. There are 49 pull-through RV sites with hookups including water, electric, sewage and cable television. There are also a number of primitive tent sites that offer no services and are priced much cheaper per night. You'll have opportunities for basketball and volleyball and horseback riding and there are several hiking and biking trails in the area. There is 600 feet of waterfront available for swimming, fishing and canoe rentals.
North Jacksonville/Kingsland KOA Campground
The North Jacksonville/Kingsland KOA Campground, located 20 miles outside of Folkston, has over 60 RV and tent sites available for nightly and extended rental, year-round. All sites include standard hookups, as well cable television and wireless Internet. There are also several small cabins for rental as well. The family-themed park also has a small dog park and a small children's playground. You can get your exercise on the extensive hiking and biking trail surrounding the park, as well in the swimming pool and basketball park.
