Potatoes

In fact, dried spirulina offers 1527 mg of potassium in a ½ cup serving. Seaweed is not always palatable for some, but, if you can put the taste or texture aside it is an excellent vegetable to use for potassium and other necessary minerals.

Green Vegetables

Green vegetables can often offer a good source of potassium. If you need extra potassium in the diet, French green beans are a terrific source. French green beans have a whopping 1316 mg in one serving. Parsley is another green vegetable that is absolutely loaded with potassium. Parsley has 1080 mg in just two little sprigs. Brussels sprouts offer 247 mg in potassium for a ½ cup serving. In addition, spinach has a total of 490 mg of potassium in just three little leaves. Eating any one of these green vegetables can help make an improvement in potassium levels.
