My heroes! Can't say enough superlatives to Levi on yest's TT: eccellente! magnifico! perfetto! Lookin' good on GC. (ONE DAY AT A TIME), which appears to be exactly what you're doing. Smart, really smart! Hi Lance.

The last 5 seconds in this video is priceless! I can just hear you all. LOL! Stay strong!!!

oops, think I lost my comment, wasn't signed in. But Chris C says you two should be feeling better now after ninth day ;-). Find that hard to believe but I respect his experience and opinion. Levi, just an amazing ride yesterday. And yes, Lance I want to visit that part of Italy, but I don't want to do that ride...maybe one a bit easier. You two have glazed eyes from exhaustion...thanks for keeping in touch with us. Hopefully you also get energy back from everyone waiting to see Levi in PINK. Whole team looking very strong. Can't get over JB Junior...how old is he? Can't think about the end of week yet...but it is closer. Rome. Conqueror's.

Thanks for the video clip. I enjoyed all the good humor and candor. This would make a great virtual reality show. All of the joys of racing without any of the suffering. Perfect.

Cavendish's last day, huh? Sounds interesting. :-D Saxo bank (My team) really needs a win. :-D But in the overall, of course I'm cheering for you!

Looking LEAN...

Sometimes I really think you can predict the future, Lance. How did you know that Mark Cavendish will win the Stage 13? It's unfortunate that our Internet server in our area was down for at least 12 hours, and it happened to be the time of the Giro. When it finally came on, it was over! I saw the awarding ceremony though. I'll try to watch the replay when I can.
Well, you, Levi and the rest of the team are doing really well. You're definitely spoiling us with this video updates. Thanks a million! I beleive you, it's not easy to spend at least 5 hours in the bike on a daily basis! Goodluck tomorrow though, just give your best and good things will follow. Take care. :-)

I'm convinced that both Lance and Levi got all that they could out of their bodies on Stage 12, but there was definitely room for improvement when it comes to line selection on the downhill sections. I'm not talking about taking big chances, I'm talking about differences in reading the course that result in meaningful differences in speed, smoothness and distance traveled. Stuff that shows up as obvious differences between those who can make it through a ski race course and those who really nail it. Might be a good idea to find a good motorcycle racer who can lead and follow and give some advice. Maybe even spend some time on a track. You've got your strength nailed, not much more to gain there. Need to work on the weakness to make significant improvements.

danerthomas - they hadn't seen that course before.... just had a chance that morning to cruise it in a car and choose the right tires... and machine configurations.... that's why diluca had home court advantage.... ;)

Its amazing that no one has come up with a better way to attach race numbers. How about velcro or carbon fiber safety pins?

Thanks for the update!

Love the videos of you both - adds to the whole experience of following the Giro. Go Levy (from your adopted state of CA)! And Lance, simply put, you're an inspiration to us all (especially your fellow cancer survivors)!
