Connect with LIVESTRONG.COM Woman Explore: http://www.livestrong.com/woman/ Like: https://www.facebook.com/livestrongcom Follow: http://twitter.com/LIVESTRONG_COM/ More Jennifer: http://skinnychef.com, http://www.youtube.com/user/JenniferIserloh ***** Tuna Tartar Serves 4 10 ounces sushi grade tuna, chopped 2 tablespoons sesame oil 1 shallot, peeled, minced 2 jalapeños, seeded, minced 1 1-inch piece ginger, peeled, minced 1 teaspoon lime zest ½ teaspoon sea salt 2 heads of endive, trimmed, leaves removed 4 teaspoons black sesame seeds ½ micro greens or sprouts Place the tuna, sesame oil, shallot, jalapeños, ginger, and zest in a medium bowl. Toss well then add the salt. Toss again. Using a biscuit cutter as a mold, place it in the middle of plate or shallow bowl. Pile a quarter of the tuna into it and gently press it down. Remove the biscuit cutter and arrange five endive leaves around. Garnish with the sesame seeds and top with micro greens or sprouts. Serve immediately.
