Another great way to help alleviate your baby's discomfort from teething is by massaging their gums. And you can do this outside and inside of their mouth. So I'm going to show you on me and then I'll show you on the baby doll. So you're going to want to use the pads of your fingers, either the both of them or just one, depending on your baby's face and how big it is. And you're going to just take this and do circular motions all along the gum line, both bottom and top. And you can also do it this way, where you just rub this way. And this is what it would look like on the baby. So their face is really small, you're just going to rub this way in circular motions or just rub back along the gum line. You can also do it inside the mouth, which feels really good for them. And just again, you're going to use the pad of your finger. And if your nails are really long, you might want to give them a little bit of a cut. And you can just put your finger in the baby's mouth using the pad of your finger to just rub on the baby's gum. And if they let you, you can do circular motions. Otherwise, just back and forth on the bottom gum. You can do the front of the gum, the top of the gum, and then you're going to go up to the top gums and do the same thing. Most likely, they're going to bite down on your finger, which will feel really good to them, and you'll be amazed at how strong they are. So just rub on the top, rub on the side, rub on the back, rub all around. It'll feel really good. And you'll also be able to feel if you have any teeth coming up as you feel the little bumps that are there. So this is a great way to bond with your baby and it feels really good on their gums.
