However, having abnormally high testosterone levels can affect your body negatively, so you'll want to consider taking some of the following supplements to prevent any side effects. A study from the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition established that red yeast rice can lower total and LDL, or "bad" cholesterol levels without altering HDL, or "good" cholesterol.

Celery seed extract, also known as Apium graveolens, has a variety of benefits. One benefit that is of particular interest to those taking testosterone supplements is its hepatoprotective activity, or liver protection. A study from the Journal of Ethnopharmacology found that celery seed extract is effective in battling toxicity in the liver and liver damage in rats.

Milk Thistle Extract

Because protein and testosterone supplements are processed by the liver, testosterone use can induce stress on the liver. However, a study from the University of Washington found that milk thistle extract works as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and also protects against liver damage.
