Cardiac workload is how hard your heart has to work to pump blood throughout the body. Exercise strengthens the heart muscle and helps to improve circulation in the arteries. It also improves circulation in the veins that carry blood back to the heart. Exercise causes squeezing of the veins and help push blood back to the heart to be reoxygenated.
