According to "Handbook of Dermatology: A Practical Manual," carrot juice contains beta carotene, which assists the body in healing acne scars. Freshly juiced carrots contain the most potent amounts of beta carotene and are therefore the first choice when treating acne scars. This treatment should be applied daily for 12 weeks for maximum results. If you do not notice favorable results after 12 weeks, visit a dermatologist for additional assistance.

Clean three carrots with water. Juice the carrot with the juicer.
Mix half of the carrot juice with 1 tsp. of sea salt to form a paste. Gently massage this paste into your scars using circular motions.
Keep the paste on your face until it drys, then wash it off with cool water. According to "Braun-Falco's Dermatology," the carrot juice and sea salt paste will exfoliate your skin and promote new, healthy skin growth to diminish the appearance of the acne scars.
Dab the remaining carrot juice onto your acne scars. This will allow the beta carotene to work its way into your scar, promoting additional healthy skin growth, according to "Cosmetic Dermatology: Principles and Practice."
Allow the carrot juice to rest on your face for 10 minutes, then rinse it off with cool water.
